Wow, the weather in Anchorage is cooling quickly! When I was at a showing on the Anchorage Hillside yesterday, my buyer mentioned how chilly and windy it felt compared to just a few days ago. This drastic change is not anything new to most Alaskans. I mean we can have rain one minute and sunshine the next minute.
With the oncoming coldness, I just wanted to remind my fellow Alaskans of what a beautiful summer we have had this year. It was a good one!

It has been a great summer so far... no doubt about that. We were in the upper 70's today which was pretty darn nice. :)
Vanna - so which day did summer happen up there this year (LOL)?
HI Jesse, 70's is pretty darn nice! Not too hot and not too cold, just perfect. : )
Hi Mike, Let's see, I can't even count. Summer days have been plentiful this year!!!
Hi Vanna, I haven't visited Anchorage but I have been to other port cities and love, love love the people and the quality of life there. Now, I have to have warm weather to survive, lol, but what a wonderful place to live, raise a family. If you look at my home page, I did a show about my seaplane trip into the Fjords. Even though it was a couple years ago, I am going to do a post and add some wonderful pictures of my trip. I love to share places I have been and the experiences there and Alaska will always be a one of my favorites in my travels.
William,
Alaska is a wonderful place to raise a family. Yes, I know I am not in the least bit impartial about this. Alaska is just so full of God's gift to humans, nature. Since moving to Alaska, my family has been able to experience a more fulfilling life because of all the outdoor activities available here, whether summer or winter. If you ever stop by this part of the earth again, let me know. =)
