An Attitude of Gratitude

An Attitude of Gratitude

Thanksgiving is the time for families near and far to gather together to enjoy eachother's company and a GREAT BIG FEAST. It is a tradition in our family and so many other's to go around the table and have each person state what they are most GRATEFUL for.

I learned in a BOLD course that I took over the summer that having a grateful attitude can contribute to better relationships, good health, and a postive mindset. I challenge all of you to recognize the wonderful things, big and small, that you are grateful for, not only on Thanksgiving, but EVERYDAY.

In reality, much of our society focuses on the things that we don't have instead of the things that we have. Practice this attitude of gratitude by thinking of something(s) or someone(s) that you are grateful for and say those things out loud every morning.

What are you grateful for today? Right now?

  • I am grateful for a wonderful and supportive family.
  • I am grateful for a Great Husband that makes a mean stir-fry. =)
  • I am so, so grateful for my four beautiful children.
  • I am grateful for a wonderful God.
  • I am grateful for all my clients, who trust me with one of the biggest financial decisions they'll every make, their home.
  • I am grateful for the many friends we've made since moving to Anchorage.
  • I am grateful for the many friends we've left in Illinois.
  • I am grateful for Keller Williams-for helping me stretch myself.... because I know I can do and be more.
  • I am grateful for a relatively stable Real Estate Market here in Anchorage.

An attitude of gratitude will help us see what is important to us and available to us in our present state. It's important to focus on what is right in front of us ~ the amazing, blessed, beautiful... the people in our lives.

So, What are you grateful for?
